Billing and Collection:

  • Prepare and issue accurate and timely billing invoices to clients or partners.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices or payment discrepancies.
  • Record and reconcile collections and deposits in the accounting system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to validate billing details and resolve client billing concerns.

Accounting and Reporting:

  • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including supporting schedules and reports.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in BIR compliance (e.g., VAT, withholding taxes) and preparation of required documents.

Other Duties:

  • Coordinate with external auditors, vendors, and clients when needed.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in billing and accounting (preferably in a corporate or shared service setup).
  • Working knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
