- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and when required, discipline employees to maintain a skilled and efficient operations team.
- Clearly communicate job expectations and monitor employee performance through planning, evaluation, and regular performance reviews.
- Plan and review compensation actions while enforcing company policies and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide operational insights during strategic planning and execute action plans related to productivity, quality, customer concerns, problem resolution, and project close-out.
- Forecast operational requirements, plan and control expenditures, analyze PO variations or gaps, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop and improve operational systems for product handling, storage, workflow efficiency, and timely site delivery.
- Enforce and evaluate company policies and procedures; develop effective processes for material receiving, equipment utilization, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Oversee Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) works to ensure compliance with industry standards, design specifications, and client requirements.
- Review and approve CME construction drawings, shop drawings, IFC plans, as-built plans, and technical documentation.
- Review and approve budget and materials related requests.
- Validate CME material take-offs, load schedules, equipment lists, and specifications before procurement.
- Ensure proper execution of civil works such as concrete, formworks, rebar installation, excavation, site development, and structural works.
- Resolve CME-related issues through coordination with engineers, supervisors, and project teams.
- Validate and approve CME accomplishments and quantities prior to billing submissions.
- Ensure strict CME safety compliance, especially during high-risk activities (hot works, elevated works, lifting, energization).
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning for CME-related issues, incidents, or nonconformities.
- Analyze and monitor workflow performance, resolve resource constraints, and ensure smooth operational execution.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety standards, compliance protocols, and legal regulations (DOLE and others).
- Achieve operational and organizational goals by delivering results aligned with company targets.
- Oversee staff allocations, work hours, wages, and contract labor to meet labor budget objectives.
- Oversee department managers and supervisors, exercising approval authority over operational personnel.
- Manage relationships with key operational vendors to ensure reliable performance and service.
- Review and approve as-built documents and final quantities for accuracy before billing submission.
- Serve as primary contact for customer concerns involving equipment quality, site issues, outages, accidents, or operational incidents.
- Communicate customer issues to operations teams and develop solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with management to develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Communicate operational updates, policies, and issues clearly during department meetings.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting & Finance, and Administration teams to ensure proper inventory usage, accurate stock data, deliveries and minimized subrental and other expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or related field
- Preferably a resident of Marikina or nearby cities
- At least 5–10 years experience in project management or operations within the construction or telecom/CME industry.
- Strong background in civil works, electrical installation, site operations, and project execution.
- Proven experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end CME project execution (planning to turnover).
- Strong capability in daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Skilled in resolving technical issues, change requests, and site coordination.
- Expertise in CME works: excavation, concreting, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, and finishing.
- Knowledgeable in site preparation, backfilling, and foundation works.
- Strong understanding of building codes, structural plans, and engineering standards.
- Competent in electrical installations: power distribution, wiring, grounding, conduits, cable trays, lighting, and panel boards.
- Experienced in project billings, progress reports, certifications, change orders, and documentation.
- Ensures contractual compliance with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership skills; able to manage engineers, supervisors, foremen, skilled workers, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in manpower planning, delegation, performance monitoring, and team development.
- Capable of preparing project updates, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Skilled in project scheduling, monitoring productivity targets, and managing resources.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- With skills in driving and possesses a valid driver's license
