We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for developing both people and systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in managing day-to-day laboratory operations and implementing strategic initiatives. Develop and execute plans that align with the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Foster collaboration and maintain effective professional relationships across departments. Make sound, data-driven decisions to support laboratory and business objectives.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure efficient workflow management and achievement of operational targets.
  • Promote innovation through process, system, and service enhancements.

FUNCTIONS
  • Oversee the execution of laboratory activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure laboratory readiness and proper response to emergency situations.
  • Support performance management processes, including staff evaluation and feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures. Administer Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety and preventive measures.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and adherence to established protocols. Apply technical and professional expertise to optimize laboratory operations.
  • Oversee and facilitate staff training programs to strengthen team competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Must be a Licensed/Registered Medical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of laboratory experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • If being considered with the position, the identified candidate will be assigned in Marikina.
