Job Description
As an MSP Service Desk Engineer, you'll serve as the first line of IT support, troubleshooting client issues via phone and email, managing tickets, setting up systems, and ensuring quick and effective solutions that deliver seamless IT operations.

The Qualifications We Seek
- Must have at least 2-years of Technical Support experience from an Australian Telecommunications campaign
- Proven MSP experience
- 2 years IT Experience with an Australian account
- Must be a college graduate OR at least finished 2nd year college, preferably in Computer Science
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office desktop applications (specifically, Word / Excel / Outlook)
- Experience with an IT helpdesk ticketing system
- Strong motivation to learn more about IT systems with the ability to self-learn
Your Daily Tasks
- Provide first-line response for phone and email IT support requests from small business clients
- Use remote access tools on Windows computers to troubleshoot and fix issues
- Liaise with clients directly from issue lodgement to resolution
- Setup and provide basic support for Microsoft Windows and Office 365 desktop applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, hardware support)
- Setup new user accounts and provide onboarding information to new users
- Troubleshoot networks and provide limited server support
- Liaise with suppliers for support when required
- Triage issues for severity and escalate quickly when needed
- Identify potential problems proactively via monitoring systems and system checks
- Assist in project work and other IT tasks as directed by management
