As a BIM / VDC Modeler, you'll assist in transforming complex architectural and engineering concepts into dynamic digital models, driving accuracy and efficiency in project delivery. You'll contribute to content creation, model coordination, and integration of cutting-edge tools like AR/VR, laser scanning, and BIM software to keep construction smart and seamless.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's or technical degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
• Experience in 2D and 3D modeling
• Expertise in Autodesk programs, specifically Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Ability to read structural, mechanical, and architectural drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with National BIM Standards (NBIMS) and National CAD Standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam

• Willingness to work off-hours when needed

Your Daily Tasks

• Apply VDC software and hardware systems, processes, and best practices
• Model MEPF scopes of work based on construction documents, specifications, product submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
• Model content from design through construction
• Prepare models for shop drawings, model-based layout, AR/VR, and integration with laser scans
• Manage and coordinate architectural, MEPF, structural, civil, specialty, and site components of the model
• Utilize or learn to utilize reality capture data for model creation or updates (e.g., laser scanning, sUAS, terrestrial photogrammetry, and LiDAR)
• Identify constructability issues and missing information
• Notify the project team of issues and RFIs that require resolution
• Use BIM 360, BIM Track, ProjectSight, or other project-specific information management systems
