JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Safety Officer is responsible for facilitating compliance with safety rules and regulations of the company. Monitors and assesses hazardous and unsafe situations and develops measures to assure personnel safety.

II. STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in any engineering course, preferred or any 4- year technical course related to environment, health and safety

B. Experience

  • At least one to two (1-2) years work experience in implementing safety programs in a construction site
  • Construction/high rise building experience
  • Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards-Advanced
  • Has taken the Construction Occupational Safety and Health Seminar (COSH) from a DOLE-accredited institution and preferably has taken the Safety Advance course
  • Certified First Aider, accredited by Philippine Red Cross
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, an advantage
  • Knowledge of/Skills in MS Office-Basic
  • Verbal and written communication skills-Advanced
  • Professional attitude and appearance

C. Eligibility

  • Accredited DOLE COSH practitioner, preferred
  • Will be assign in Biñan, Laguna
