The Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This role supervises retail staff, monitors inventory, and ensures that store standards and targets are consistently met in alignment with company goals.

Sales & Operations

  • Supervise and support retail staff to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Implement sales strategies, promotions, and merchandising plans to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and recommend improvement actions.
  • Ensure store displays, cleanliness, and product arrangements meet brand standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

Team Leadership

  • Schedule, train, and motivate store personnel to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Lead daily briefings to align the team on goals, product knowledge, and service expectations.

Inventory & Cash Management

  • Oversee stock levels, replenishment, and product rotation to minimize shortages or wastage.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and coordinate with warehouse or procurement teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cashiering and deposit procedures.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Enforce company policies, operational standards, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales and inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety (for food service stores) and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and manage retail operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
