DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to and troubleshoot IT support requests related to desktop applications, computer hardware, mobile devices, network connectivity, printers, and user access;
  • Facilitates preparation and distribution of IT equipment including PCs, laptops, and smart phones;
  • Install, image, configure, upgrade, and maintain computers, printers, mobile devices and peripherals;
  • Set up new user accounts and manage permissions and access control on active directory, office, file server, and SQL databases;
  • Assist to manage an inventory database of IT assets;
  • Daily monitoring of the desktop management software event logs to ensure updates and security patches are installed on personal computers;
  • Maintain and support audio and video systems in conference rooms;
  • Software testing and user training;
  • Identify and refer unresolved hardware and software problems for resolution;
  • Contribute to technical documentation and FAQs in appropriate areas;
  • Monitor antivirus software and updates;
  • Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts needed by users;
  • May review and evaluate new computer hardware and software products; recommend the implementation of new products;
  • Provide technical back up for network and systems
  • Perform other related task as maybe assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Male/ Female (preferred age: 30 yrs. or under)
  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to Information Technology, Software/Network Engineering or Computer Science preferred. Network or Security certifications a plus;
  • Experience in a progressive IT help desk support environment;
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Windows operating systems and Active Directory;
  • Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, and the ability to communicate well in a timely manner with employees at all levels;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite;
  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and prioritize tasks to meet numerous deadlines in a fast paced environment;
  • Team player, self-starter and faster learner;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Must be available for occasional weekend and after hours work;
  • Willing to report in Makati Office
