Position Overview:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to the restaurant's standards. This role ensures efficiency, consistency, and cleanliness in the kitchen while supporting overall food quality and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared accurately and served in a timely manner.
  • Assist in creating daily prep lists and completing tasks efficiently.
  • Adjust recipes or cooking methods according to special requests or dietary restrictions when authorized.

Kitchen Operations

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO method).
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow all kitchen protocols to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.

Quality & Safety Compliance

  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular temperature checks and ensure proper handling of food items.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or inventory shortages to the Head Chef or Supervisor immediately.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and plate consistency.
  • Assist fellow cooks when needed to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
  • Communicate issues, delays, or concerns to the Kitchen Supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably with experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setup.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig. (Near Ayala Malls - Market-Market )

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
