JOB OVERVIEW
The Line Cook is expected to prepare, cook and plate food items accurately and based to standards. The Line Cook ensures the smooth operation in the kitchen by preparing enough stock of food items. Knowledge and skills cooking Burgers. He must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high pressured work environment while maintaining focus on the work to be done. Line Cook must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes the Station Training and passed all required examinations
- Responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen.
- Prepares, cooks and plates food items according to standard set by the company
- Maintains clean and sanitary working stations
- Stocks and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
- Adheres to food safety standards and maintains proper hygiene.
- Checks and maintains storage area's cleanliness.
- Requisition of stocks based on inventory and par stock levels
- Knowledgeable and complies with the Company's standards on food portioning, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen recipes, proper policies and procedures.
- Handles, stores and rotates products properly
- Performs other work-related tasks assigned by Superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Must be physically fit
- Preferably with at least 6 months of working experience in the related field.
- Has the ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Has the ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to start immediately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
