Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the successful handling of social event leads, contracting and implementing under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director of Events. Ensures effective communication with clients and efficient coordination with key departments concerned. Oversees Events profitability through effective planning, selling and merchandising.

To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business. Conducts site inspections and sales activities as required. Assists the organizers, referrals and recommendations for outside subcontractors.

Keeps abreast of promotions throughout the hotel to help increase sales. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior. REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATIONReports to the Assistant Director of Events.

Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners and staff. OthersContinuous learning through own IDP.Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior. AccountabilitiesRepresents Dusit's brand and its values at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTMinimum education of Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline

Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5-star class environment

Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken EnglishHave a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel

Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
