Role Description

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant with strong knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years of solid General Ledger (GL) accounting experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in recording journal entries, managing month-end close activities, performing account reconciliations, and hands-on expertise in bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

  • Record accurate and timely journal entries.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage AR and AP processes, including invoice posting, payment processing, and collections monitoring
  • Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and financial reviews.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes, and audit support
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus
  • Experience working in a global delivery model is a plus
