Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledgers.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies, variances, or irregularities.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, government reporting requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information at all times.
  • Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
