Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Ledger Accountant located in Pasig. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements. The role also involves month-end and year-end closing activities, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The accountant will work closely with other finance team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ability to assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
  • Experience in the retail or distribution industry is beneficial
