Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain and analyze the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support both internal and external audits.
  • Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions comply with company policies and GAAP/IFRS.
  • Participate in process improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
  • 2–4 years of experience in general accounting or GL-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
