The role

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the company's financial operations and supporting the Branch Manager. This includes budgeting, reporting, tax compliance, payroll, and procurement. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reports, and compliance with government requirements while improving operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Approve expenses in the ERP system and check bank transactions.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including settlements, journal entries, and performance reports.
  • Prepare weekly AR aging reports and send Statements of Account (SOA) to clients.
  • Review reimbursements, petty cash disbursements, and payroll (1st and 2nd cut-offs).
  • Prepare and review reconciliation reports (bank, inter-office, and settlement files).
  • Track job losses, monthly billings, and payment collections.
  • Prepare complete financial reports and ensure accurate monthly closings.
  • Handle BIR filings (1601C, 0619E, 1601EQ, 2550Q, 1702Q, etc.) and related attachments.
  • Manage employee-related tax forms (2316, Alphalist) and prepare AFS and 1702RT.
  • Coordinate with BIR for audits, meetings, and submissions.
  • Process government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Support internal and external audits.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance (BIR filings and government contributions).
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in payroll processing, AR/AP management, and financial reconciliations.
