Specialist - BI Support

Job Purpose
To deliver comprehensive support for Business Intelligence solution, and automation in PDS Technology applications to the S&P APAC Team Lead, colleagues, stakeholders, and project managers, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and processes, and contributing to the successful completion of global projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead as a strategic subject matter expert for enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions, orchestrating system architecture to ensure optimal stability, availability, and performance while driving continuous enhancement initiatives.
• Design and implement advanced technical solutions using PowerBI, Power Automate, SQL, Design Studio, and Alteryx to resolve complex system issues, transforming reactive support into proactive optimization strategies.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between data engineers, analysts, and executive stakeholders to anticipate business needs and architect comprehensive BI frameworks that align with organizational objectives.
• Architect and implement sophisticated monitoring systems that leverage predictive analytics to identify performance issues before they impact business operations, autonomously resolving critical bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain authoritative documentation and knowledge management systems, establishing best practices and governance standards that scale across the organization.
• Design and implement robust data quality frameworks and governance protocols using SQL and Alteryx that ensure data integrity while supporting complex business intelligence requirements.
• Manage the prioritization matrix for enterprise-wide support requests, making autonomous decisions that balance technical requirements with business impact in accordance with SLAs.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities using Power Automate and Alteryx workflows, transforming support operations and significantly reducing manual intervention.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry developments to formulate strategic recommendations that position the organization's BI capabilities for future growth and competitive advantage.
• Demonstrates advanced communication across diverse audiences, leading discussions and creating persuasive content while showing strong influencing skills, negotiation abilities, and autonomy in complex stakeholder management.
• Proactively oversees multiple complex workstreams with minimal supervision, anticipates and mitigates risks independently, adapts priorities strategically amid changing demands, and makes autonomous decisions that align with broader organizational objectives.
• Functions as a critical strategic enabler whose advanced technical expertise and autonomous decision-making directly influences cross-functional outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx Designer, or related technologies required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience architecting and optimizing enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions, in complex, multi-platform environments.
• Advance-level proficiency in Power BI ecosystem, including DAX, complex data modeling, and enterprise deployment strategies to deliver sophisticated analytics solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Power Automate for creating complex workflow automations that integrate with multiple data systems and business processes.
• Strong SQL expertise including performance optimization, complex query writing, and data pipeline development across large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience with Design Studio for creating customized, enterprise-grade reporting solutions that serve diverse stakeholder needs.
• Advanced Alteryx skills for developing complex data preparation workflows, predictive analytics models, and automated data quality frameworks.
• Strategic problem-solving capabilities with proven success implementing comprehensive technical solutions that address systemic challenges across the organization.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business value and influence decision-making at management levels
