Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The Role

As a key member of Evident accounting team, the Accounting Assistant plays an important role in ensuring Evident financial reporting meet the highest standards of integrity. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant will provide support to the finance team in managing accounts payable, accruals, and journal entries. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or entry-level candidate who wants to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in processing invoices, payment requests, and employee reimbursements.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for monthly accruals and other adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
  • Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules required for audits and financial reviews.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
