About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee all health, safety, and accident-prevention initiatives across our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within the construction or infrastructure sector, along with direct experience in bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Lead accident investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Facilitate safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for all staff and workers.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety standards are upheld across all project phases.
  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent hazards and improve workplace safety.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Health & Safety and Accident Prevention within construction or infrastructure.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bridge projects (mandatory).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or any related field.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, risk assessments, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
