Job Title: Inventory Officer

Reports To: Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

The Inventory Officer is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and safeguarding company inventory across all retail locations. This role focuses on identifying and preventing inventory losses, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that stock records are accurate and aligned with actual counts. The position plays a vital role in supporting operational efficiency and minimizing shrinkage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and surprise physical inventory audits in retail stores and warehouses.
  • Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or potential losses.
  • Inspect causes of stock variances, shrinkage, or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Store Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of stock movements.
  • Analyze inventory trends and loss reports to identify patterns or risk areas.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices to minimize losses.
  • Prepare and submit audit findings and inventory reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all inventory-related activities.
  • Support annual physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of all audit and reconciliation reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, audit, or related role within a retail or distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience using inventory management systems
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Integrity, objectivity, and commitment to data accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
