The Inventory and Storeroom Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring efficient storage practices. This position supports operational efficiency by conducting regular stock counts, managing inventory discrepancies, and assisting in product procurement and distribution.

Essential Functions

Inventory Management:

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts, both physical and system-based, to ensure data accuracy.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Track product flow from receiving, storage, and outbound operations.

Receiving and Stocking:

  • Assist in receiving shipments and verify accuracy by matching purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality, damage, or discrepancies and report issues to management.
  • Properly label, store, and organize items to maintain an orderly storeroom and warehouse.

Inventory Analysis:

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reconciling physical counts with system data.
  • Identify trends in stock shortages, surpluses, or obsolete products and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Assist with cycle counts and full physical audits.

Data Entry & Reporting:

  • Enter inventory transactions into ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, movements, discrepancies, and shrinkage.
  • Maintain accurate records for audit compliance.

Errands and Stock Procurement:

  • Run errands and drive the company vehicle to purchase last-minute stock or supplies as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation and receipts for purchases made during errands.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement, and sales teams to fulfill order requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for inventory-related inquiries.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free storeroom and warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Driving Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php23,000.00 per month
