Keep the workplace safe and sound

Ensure the organization follows DOLE safety regulations, and every employee knows the protocols and has the right tools. Responsibilities include risk assessments, policy development, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. These safety champions protect occupational health and well-being with proactive and reactive strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections for hazards.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with OSHS and DOLE standards.
  • Implement safety programs and policies.
  • Monitor and document workplace accidents and illnesses.
  • Report violations and unsafe practices.
  • Conduct safety training and promote awareness.
  • Provide basic first aid and assist in emergencies.
  • Participate in emergency drills and ensure evacuation procedures are known.
  • Coordinate with DOLE on safety matters and stay updated on regulations.
  • Participate in safety meetings and committees.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment and PPE.
  • Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Comply with e-Tap's safety and security protocols.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Safety Certification (OSHS) & Trainers Certificate.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick, sound judgments.
  • Certification in First Aid or related fields is a plus.
  • Physically fit to perform security patrols and respond to incidents.
  • Proven experience as Safety Officer
