QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any 4 year degree course
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of DOLE, OSH and other Philippine safety regulations.
  • Must be a certified Safety Officer (SO2 or SO3 preferred).
  • Work experience with EEI or in high rise is a PLUS
  • With strong technical skills in areas like hazard identification, risk assessment, accident investigation, and emergency response.
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati City
  • With FREE LODGING

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification at the construction site.
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports and records required by regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors on safety concerns.
  • Lead the conduct of emergency drills and participate in the post drill evaluation sessions. Responsible in ensuring that the emergency drill was properly
  • Investigate all injuries, accidents and near misses. Identify the causes and advise on any improvement in safety standards that need to be made and manage return-to-work activities.
  • Other tasks maybe assigned from time to time.
