About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support a US-based accounting team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing books using QuickBooks Online and Desktop, with additional experience in AppFolio and AvidPay considered a strong plus. This role will support clients across multiple industries, including renewable energy and real estate, requiring adaptability and accuracy in handling diverse business models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper categorization of transactions
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses using QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as needed
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and verify financial documentation
  • Support tax preparation processes by ensuring accurate financial data is available
  • Utilize AppFolio and AvidPay (if applicable) for property management and vendor payment workflows
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven bookkeeping experience with strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Experience with AppFolio and AvidPay is a significant advantage
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience supporting clients across various industries (renewable energy, real estate, etc.) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work US business hours (night shift PH time)
  • 100% Remote
