About the role

JUNE is a neighborhood eatery, bistro and natural wine bar set in the heart of BGC. Cuisine is Western with touches of Nordic, Modern New Zealand, and French-Italian influences.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  1. Welcoming and greeting customers warmly upon arrival
  2. Providing friendly and attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables
  3. Ensuring the dining area is clean, organised and well-stocked at all times
  4. Responding promptly and courteously to customer requests and feedback
  5. Assisting with kitchen preparation tasks as needed
  6. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our menu, specials and dining policies
  7. Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  2. Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  5. A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
  6. High school diploma or equivalent required; bartending certification or hospitality qualifications preferred
  7. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  8. Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine service, and natural wine characteristics
  9. Proficiency in using POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management software
