About the role

FERNA CORPORATION' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team based in Navotas City, Metro Manila. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and controls
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
  • Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and technologies

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification ( preferably but not required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a financial accounting environment
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals
