SEO Summer is a Melbourne-based SEO agency helping businesses grow their online presence with tailored, data-driven strategies. We're now looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with our Melbourne team and clients across diverse industries.

The Role

As a Senior SEO Specialist at SEO Summer, you'll be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive measurable results. You'll work across on-page, technical, and off-page SEO, while collaborating with our team and clients to deliver exceptional outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct keyword research and mapping to align with client goals
  • Provide content recommendations and collaborate on content strategies
  • Implement on-page improvements (headings, metadata, text, images, internal linking)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Search Console errors, especially indexing issues
  • Audit and improve site architecture, internal linking, and content silos
  • Develop content strategies for both service-based and product-based businesses
  • Evaluate and recommend backlink opportunities, ensuring quality and relevance
  • Create and deliver clear, actionable SEO reports for clients

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of SEO agency experience
  • Proven track record in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO
  • We will expect screenshots of previous work and results. If you don't have any to show, we cannot hire you.
  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Strong familiarity with:

  • Google Analytics (GA4)

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Ahrefs
  • WordPress

  • Bonus skills (not required, but a plus):

  • Screaming Frog

  • Mangools
  • SEO Chrome extensions
  • Shopify
  • Webflow
