We're after a PixiJS whiz who ships 60fps like it's nothing, loves TypeScript, and isn't afraid to wrestle shaders before breakfast.What you'll be doing (day to day, proper grafter stuff)Build juicy 2D game scenes & UI in PixiJS (v6/7) with TypeScript—buttons that pop, reels that sing, scratchers that scratch.Animate with GSAP/tweening, particles, and tasteful VFX—polish that screams "one more go."Make it run everywhere: mobile Safari/Chrome, webviews, awkward aspect ratios, high/low DPR.Nail asset pipelines: atlases, bitmap/MSDF fonts, preloading bars that don't lie.Sweat performance: batch, cull, pool, compress, minimize draw calls; keep GC naps short.Hook up APIs (REST/WebSocket), game state, A/B flags, analytics, remote config.Drop in filters & GLSL where needed (blur, color matrix, displacement—sprinkle, don't drown).Debug like a villain: devtools timelines, memory snapshots, flame graphs, the lot.Work with design, backend, and QA; review code; write tests that actually catch things.Must-haves (be honest, mate)3+ years front-end or game dev; 2+ years PixiJS/WebGL 2D in production.Strong TypeScript and modern JS patterns.Proven record keeping games at ~60fps on mid-range mobiles.Comfort with GSAP, deltatime loops, event systems, and layout that doesn't wobble.Evidence: shipped titles, live demos, or videos (we like pretty things).Nice-to-haves (brownie points)Spine/DragonBones via Pixi plugins; Lottie for UI flourishes.Custom GLSL, SDF text, post-processing pipelines.Web Audio tricks (reactive SFX, mixers).Packaging via Capacitor/Cordova or desktop via Electron.Realtime sockets, lightweight ECS, state sync.Instant/casino game domain: RTP display, timers, rate limits, audit logs (we behave).What success looks like (first 90 days)A reusable scene framework (boot → load → lobby → game → modal) used across titles.Solid perf budget: target devices defined, draw-call caps set, memory + frame-time tracked.Loading to first interaction < 3s on median connections; crashes are rare and boring.Instrumentation in place (errors, FPS, memory, asset failures) with dashboards and alerts.The toolboxPixiJS, TypeScript, GSAP, TexturePacker, Vite/webpack.Tests with Jest/Vitest + Playwright.Sentry (errors), Amplitude/GA4 (events).CI/CD that actually deploys.How we rollShort sprints, frequent playtests, loud GIFs in stand-up.Banter welcome; egos checked at the door.We ship, we measure, we iterate.
