Key Duties

  • Develop User Interfaces: Create visually appealing and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to implement design concepts and integrate APIs.
  • Optimize Performance: Ensure fast load times and smooth performance by optimizing code and assets.
  • Maintain Compatibility: Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and fix front-end issues to enhance user experience.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends and best practices in web development

Other Duties

  • May be assigned to assist in investigating cyber related incidents from the perspective of a developer, as well as to perform related administrative support tasks from time-to-time.

Skills

  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript - Proficiency in these core technologies is essential for building web pages.
  • Programming/Scripting Languages - Knowledge and familiarity on other web development and scripting languages (Python, PHP) and database programming (SQL, NoSQL) is an advantage .
  • Design - Familiarity with UX/UI principles and basic knowledge on graphics design and photo/video editing is an advantage.
  • Responsive Design - Ability to create designs that work on various devices and screen sizes.
  • Frameworks - Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or is beneficial.
  • Version Control - Experience with tools like Git for managing code changes.
  • Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Team Collaboration - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Web Accessibility - Knowledge of standards to ensure websites are accessible to all users.
  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
