Job Description

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you'll develop and enhance front-end systems for enterprise web applications supporting global telecommunications services. You'll build scalable solutions, optimize user interfaces, and collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to deliver high-performance features that transform how users connect and communicate.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a development-focused IT role
• Strong hands-on expertise (non-negotiable)
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS/LESS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, and Bootstrap
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks required; Angular a plus)
• Good understanding of the full SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, testing best practices, and unit testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Linux-based deployment and Agile/DevOps environments
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively in diverse, multicultural teams with professionalism and integrity

Key Deliverables:

• Develop code aligned with best practices and company guidelines
• Ensure software and systems documentation are accurate and up-to-date
• Maintain system uptime within agreed SLAs

Your Daily Tasks

• Design, develop, and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end code for company web applications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing user interfaces and front-end systems, then develop, test, and deploy enhancements.
• Work with the Team Leader or Manager to agree on priorities and key deliverables.
• Take technical ownership of the design, implementation, and performance of front-end components and features.
• Adhere to a common set of front-end development standards, coding conventions, and best practices.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrations and solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and proactively communicate potential delays.
• Manage development processes to ensure compliance with industry best practices and the ISO27001 framework.
• Apply agile development methodologies using documented user stories, backlog reviews, and progress tracking.
• Follow established quality assurance procedures.
• Prepare applications for deployment on production systems as required.
