Job Description

As a Marketplace Operations Team Lead, you will drive operational excellence across multiple retail platforms. You will oversee onboarding, compliance, support queues, and performance metrics while mentoring a team to deliver seamless seller and customer experiences. Your leadership ensures platform stability, marketplace growth, and consistent service quality in a fast-paced omnichannel environment.

The Qualifications We Seek

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Retailer/operator-side marketplace experience
  • Hands-on Mirakl platform experience
  • Previous team leadership experience

Additional Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations
  • Strong background in onboarding, seller support, account management
  • Experience with marketplace tech tools, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Able to manage workflows independently while collaborating across teams

Your Daily Tasks

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Marketplace team, including:
  • Marketplace Onboarding
  • Seller Support
  • Customer Service queries/escalations
  • Marketplace Compliance
  • Coach and train staff to build skills and improve performance
  • Manage performance by:
  • Measuring scorecards/KPIs in alignment with Marketplace KPIs
  • Conducting ongoing coaching and review sessions
  • Drive succession planning to prepare the team for long-term success
  • Develop redundancy and resilience strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations during leave or unforeseen circumstances
  • Provide hands-on support to manage and balance work volumes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital, IT, Legal, Customer Care, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and seamless operations
