About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Guill-Bern Corporation as a full-time Accounting Specialist based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting critical reporting for the organization. This is a dynamic role that will allow you to contribute directly to the overall financial health and success of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger
- Assist in preparing periodic financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Conduct account analyses and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, sending collection emails, following up via calls, and coordinating with clients to ensure timely payments
- Support both internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
What we're looking for
- Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within Account Payables and Receivables
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficient in financial reporting and data analysis; excellent attention to detail; solid communication and teamwork skills
- Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently; committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality
