Job Description

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will handle full-cycle bookkeeping, prepare and analyze financial statements, manage client accounts, and oversee complex reconciliations. You will also support audits, month-end and year-end close processes, and provide financial consulting to clients.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT (Weekends Off)

Work setup: Permanent WFH

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Candidates with varying levels of Senior Staff Accounting experience are encouraged to apply (1 to 5+ years)
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Preferred:

• Experience with tools like , Gusto, or Xero is a plus
• Solid background in both public and private accounting is desirable

Your Daily Tasks

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Maintain general ledgers and perform complex account reconciliations
• Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping for assigned clients
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Manage client accounts payable and receivable processes
• Complete month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and financial consulting
• Identify process improvements and contribute to client advisory initiatives
