DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares, produces, and bakes pastries, breads, rolls, and some desserts
  • Operate baking equipment and machinery
  • Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers according to recipes and production schedules
  • Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods.
  • Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet customer expectations
  • Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.
  • Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
  • Utilizes any and all leftovers into usable products.
  • Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
  • Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g., gluten-free or vegan desserts)
  • Keep track of food supply and place orders as required.
  • designing and creating promos of store as relevant to specific holidays or special events.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational trainings and seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Vocational Course Certificate in Bread making , Pastry Chef/ College Graduate related in Food and Beverage Industry.

· Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as kitchen staff/ helper.

· Ability to manage personal responsibilities in a high-stress, fast-paced working environment

· Ability to use multiple items/pieces of equipment in the kitchen.

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

· Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds

· Familiarity with standard restaurant operations and safe beverage service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php550.00 per day
