WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead and Coach a Sales Team: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets for wholesale office and school supplies.
- Sales Target Achievement: Work closely with the sales team to set ambitious yet realistic sales goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Strategic Account Management: Assist sales representatives in managing key client accounts, identifying opportunities for increased sales, and resolving complex client issues.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, potential clients (e.g., corporations, schools, government agencies, resellers), and emerging market trends within the office and school supplies sector.
- Sales Process Optimization: Contribute to the refinement and implementation of effective sales processes, from prospecting and lead qualification to presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track individual and team sales metrics, prepare regular sales reports, analyze performance data, and present insights to management.
- Training & Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
- Client Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of competitor activities, market pricing, and new product developments in the office and school supplies industry to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work effectively with inventory, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and promotional activities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in wholesale sales, preferably with experience in selling office and school supplies and furniture.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role with direct reports in a sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Solid understanding of the wholesale distribution model and client acquisition strategies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Residing in or willing to travel extensively within Metro Manila and surrounding regions as required for client visits and team supervision.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
