Job Summary

The Front Office Associate is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in ensuring a warm welcome and seamless guest experience. Responsible for handling reservations, check-in/out, guest inquiries, and cashiering functions, the role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality service skills. In a 20-room boutique resort, the Front Office Associate works in a lean team structure, balancing guest relations with operational duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Services

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with prompt service recovery.

Reservations & Room Management

  • Process reservations via phone, email, OTA, or walk-in.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Reservations for room availability and assignments.
  • Upsell room categories and packages to maximize revenue.

Cashiering & Reports

  • Handle payments (cash, card, e-wallets) and issue receipts.
  • Balance shift transactions and prepare daily cashiering reports.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing, folios, and guest accounts.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between guests and other departments.
  • Inform Housekeeping and Maintenance of guest requests and room issues.
  • Support Sales & Marketing in guest feedback and promotions.

Compliance & Standards

  • Follow brand standards in greetings, uniforms, and guest service.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations.
  • Support ISO, safety, and quality compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational course in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in front office, reservations, or guest services (hotel/resort experience an advantage).
  • Knowledge of PMS (Property Management System) or reservation systems preferred.
  • Basic cashiering and financial handling skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Filipino; Ilocano is an advantage.

  • Problem-solving and service recovery abilities.
  • Time management and multitasking in a boutique setup.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of PMS is an advantage.
  • Professional grooming and service-oriented personality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php468.00 per day
