Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CTP, or equivalent are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures and executes accurate settlement of cash movements in a timely manner without penalties and/or overdraft charges

  • Oversees maintenance of cash ledgers , collections and ensure effective cash controls and compliance to month-end closing activities

  • Oversees the management of Company's funds by ensuring adequate and timely funding of all local and foreign disbursements

  • Ensures timely and accurate execution and settlement including clearing of MWC's Money Market and FX deals

  • Reviews and approves instructions for all investments and FX Purchases transactions including funds transfer.

  • Approves cash and investment related reports to regulators/counterparts such as SEC, AC, BSP, as well as other regulatory reports

  • Oversees integration and automation of MWC Bank Statements to SAP ERP Treasury Module accurately and on a timely basis

  • Reviews and approves the integrity of the treasury portfolio of collections and disbarments

  • Oversees the integrity of the treasury portfolio subsidiary ledgers (debt, service concession obligations, cash, FX Purchases and investment

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in treasury operations, banking, or corporate finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Strong background in cash management, payment operations, liquidity management, bank relationship management, and risk controls.

• Proven experience in SAP (ECC/S4 Hana), Treasury Management Systems (TMS), or other ERP platforms is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated track record in process improvement, automation, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

Experience in any one of the following areas is sufficient: treasury operations, banking, or corporate finance.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, banking products, and treasury operations best practices.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.

• Analytical and strategic thinker with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners (banks, auditors, regulators).

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel or data analytics skills are a plus.

• High integrity, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines.

• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory environments.
