About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Assistant to join our team at Liberty Insurance Corporation, based in Makati City. In this contract-based position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Treasury group's operations and contributing to the overall financial management of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the processing and recording of daily treasury transactions, including cash receipts, disbursements, and check releasing
  • Support the preparation of check vouchers, handle check releasing, and encode creditable withholding tax into the system
  • Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Handles the replenishment of revolving and commission funds
  • Establish and maintain an efficient filing system for check vouchers and related records
  • Fulfill other duties that may be assigned from time to time

What we're looking for

  • Fresh graduate of Financial Management
  • Understand basic accounting entries, and pay attention to the details of the request for payments
  • Proficient in using MS Office Applications and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the finance team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • With a high level of trustworthiness and integrity
