Job Summary:
The Support Developer acts as the bridge between the customer support team and the development team. They troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent technical issues in the software product, ensuring clients and internal teams experience minimal disruptions. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.
Job Description:
● Provide technical support to users by resolving issues reported through the ticketing system.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams when necessary.
● Assist users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
● Document support activities, including issue resolution steps and user interactions.
● Communicate effectively with users to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of issues.
● Collaborate with developers and other technical teams to identify and address recurring issues.
● Stay updated on product features, updates, and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the company's technology stack.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles.
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of databases, APIs, and cloud services.
- Exposure to DevOps or system administration tasks.
