Project Management

  • Coordinate with contractors, utility personnel, government agencies, and homeowners to discuss plans, specifications, or work schedules.
  • Build a trusted relationship with the Client and Contractor counterpart staff.
  • Emphasize safe construction practices by leading by example in wearing the required on-site uniform. Maintains a clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor construction progress against the schedule and resolve problems to ensure the schedule is achieved and met.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Acts as a resources manager for the purchasing and admin throughout the project.

Planning

  • Review construction plans, and design calculations to ensure accuracy or conformity to engineering standards and practices.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, knowing weather conditions, and sequencing project elements.
  • Use effective systems to regularly prepare the project report with photos of progress to the Contractor by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; and recommending actions.
  • Acts as the focal point of contact between the office-based and site-based teams.
  • Inspect the quality of work (approved by the contractor)
  • Checking the daily timesheet of construction workers

CONTEXT

The site engineer spends the majority of time giving instructions to the Foreman and giving an accurate report that meets the Contractor's schedule. Most of the workday is paid out of the office.

COMPETENCIES

Upon hire, the site engineer must:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Intermediate to expert in AutoCAD
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in the same position and working with the same industry (construction). Goal-oriented and can easily adapt to a fast-paced environment. (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Exposed in all construction facets (finishes, precast, formwork, rebar, concreting, and fabrication)
  • With high standards of professionalism in terms of quality towards work and attitude towards work.
  • Strong leadership & motivational skills
  • Strong analytical, modeling & reporting skills

After hire, the site engineer must:

  • Learn effective system procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
