Job Summary:

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with proven experience in land and site development with experience in both government and private projects. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in technical planning, field execution, cost estimation, and local regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Knowledge Areas:

· Land Development Planning
– Understand zoning laws, land use, site feasibility, and environmental impact.

· Site Surveying
– Operate survey tools, interpret topographic maps, and coordinate with Geodetic Engineers.

· Site Clearing & Preparation
– Familiarity with grading, excavation, erosion control, and pre-construction activities.

· Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying
– Prepare BOQs, compute site work costs (labor, materials, equipment).

· ABC Costing (RA 9184)
– Prepare government-standard ABCs using DPWH/LGU references and RA 9184 guidelines.

· Project Scheduling
– Create Gantt charts, monitor timelines, coordinate with contractors and suppliers.

· Documentation & Reporting
– Maintain daily/weekly reports, project documentation, and audit-ready records.

· Regulatory Compliance
– Familiar with local permits, DENR, HLURB, and LGU requirements.

· Team & Site Coordination
– Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and local officials.

· Public & Private Project Experience
– Experience in both government-bid and privately commissioned developments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering/ Geodetic Engineering, or related field.

  • PRC-licensed (Preferred)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in land/site development

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, Excel

  • With knowledge of DPWH Blue Book and LGU standard practices

  • Familiarity with RA 9184 and government procurement processes

  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills

  • Willing to work on-site/office and travel if needed

  • Preferably with a driver's license
