
Costing and Bidding Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
- Review client inquiries, project specifications, and tender documents to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain cost data and quotations.
- Prepare, finalize, and submit bids in line with client requirements and deadlines.
- Ensure all submissions comply with client, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and regularly update costing sheets, pricing templates, and databases.
- Track bid statuses, document results, and prepare post-bid evaluation reports.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend pricing strategies to enhance competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in cost estimation, bidding, proposals, or quotation preparation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other costing or proposal tools/software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
