Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake pre- qualification and conduct post- qualification for new contractors.
  • Assist in the conduct of tendering/bidding for special projects
  • Seek quotations from contractors for various construction works
  • Do comparative (quantitative evaluation of different bids submitted and formulates appropriate recommendations)
  • For in-house bidding, prepare contract documents necessary for project implementation (NOA, contracts, NTP, supporting plans, specifications, tile and color schedule, etc)
  • Does project coordinative works with the Purchasing, POD, site people and contractors
  • Prepare costing or evaluate estimates on various project components
  • Prepare/Evaluate Requests for Change Order
  • Evaluate manual PR and JO submitted by the Construction Group
  • Undertake budget set-up, planning and entry in SAP and facilitate release of budget by Purchasing in system
  • Prepare SAP-PR needed prior to PO issuance on house construction, house repair and other site development works
  • Perform other duties which maybe assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering

At least one to two years working experience

With knowledge of MS Office & AutoCAD and actual experience in estimating

Preferably licensed Civil Engineer
