Educational Background:

  • Graduate of any 4- year course.

Knowledge & Skills needed:

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, pollution control technologies, and sustainable practices.
  • Knowledge of air quality, water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials management.
  • Familiarity with environmental assessment methods and environmental impact assessments.
  • Analytical skills to assess pollution levels and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Communication skills to interact with regulators, industry personnel, and the public.
  • A strong understanding of local, regional, and national environmental regulations is essential to ensure that industries are in compliance.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, reporting, and documentation is often necessary.
  • The ability to work with various stakeholders, including industry professionals, regulatory agencies, and the public, is important.
  • Preferably at least two (2) year experience or practice as safety officer and pollution control officer.
  • In depth knowledge of Environmental and Safety Legal requirements and procedures, Oral and written communication skills, Organizational skills, Investigation, data analysis and reporting statistics, Emergency situation management, Computer literate
  • Leadership, Basic Pollution Control, Basic Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Assessment (EAI & HIRAC) and Management, Incident Investigation and Prevention, Loss Control Management.
