Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper/Accountant at Digital8 Inc. located in Metro Manila. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. They play a key role in maintaining financial compliance, supporting audits, and assisting with budgeting and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Match company records with bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Payroll Processing: Support payroll functions by verifying employee hours, calculating wages, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax reports.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Audit Support: Provide documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Budget Assistance: Help monitor expenses and prepare budget reports.
  • Expense Tracking: Review and reconcile company expenses and reimbursements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge in finance-related tasks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Open to candidates with little to no experience, provided they have strong foundational knowledge
