Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant

AKOI Management is a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to giving our clients the best possible service. We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated Bookkeeper to join our on-site team.
If you have 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping and a background in accounting or finance, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Handle credit card statement management and account reconciliations
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts
- Record and monitor cash receipts, investments, and payroll bookings
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate account balances
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with quarterly/year-end close
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
