Job Description

As an AU Bookkeeper, you will handle end-to-end bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and smooth payroll and reporting processes across multiple industries.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Day shift, weekends off

Work setup: Hybrid - SM Megatower Ortigas (1st month: Onsite; 2nd month onwards: 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

The Qualifications We Seek

Education Requirements (Essential):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes (Essential):

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a bookkeeper supporting Australian clients or working within the Australian accounting environment
  • Proficient in using Xero (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills and highly deadline-oriented
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools such as Receiptbank, Hubdoc, or KeyPay (experience is a plus)

Your Daily Tasks

  • Processing daily transactions across a variety of industries
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Processing payroll
  • Preparing Activity Statements, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation
  • Setting up and maintaining client accounting files
  • Assisting in the preparation of month-end management accounts
  • Drafting and managing day-to-day email communications with clients
