
Capacity Building Officer

JOB SUMMARY
The Capacity Building Officer develops and implements strategies on the delivery of capacity building services to social enterprises (SEs) with the purpose of addressing their needs and generating positive results on people, planet and profit bottom lines.
This role coordinates with other staff with regards to maintaining healthy relationships with partner SEs, monitoring performance of partner SEs, institutional monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management and communications.
Key Result Areas
A. Capacity Building
Develop and deliver tailored 3BL-focused capacity building programs for partner SEs in coordination with FSSI member organizations and external providers. Facilitate capacity needs assessments, support planning, and conduct training or mentoring in key organizational areas.
B. Monitoring and Evaluation
Track partner SEs' progress on capacity building plans and assess the effectiveness and impact of interventions. Recommend improvements based on evaluation findings. Assist in the conduct of project monitoring activities to partner SEs.
C. Documentation and Information Management
Organize and manage documentation of capacity building activities and ensure secure handling of partner information. Make relevant data and materials accessible to staff while maintaining confidentiality.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: College degree preferably with background in Economics, Banking, Finance, Business Management, Social Sciences, Environment, Education, Communication
Experience: At least three (3) years working experience in related fields
