
Human Resource Assistant

The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring efficient HR operations and maintaining positive employee relations within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist in posting job advertisements on various platforms and sourcing candidates through referrals and job postings.
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and conduct initial assessments of candidates.
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation for new hires.
- Conduct new employee orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Maintain and update employee records and the HR database, including the 201 file.
- Ensure completion of all pre-employment documentation and compliance with hiring requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance evaluation tools.
- Gather and analyze performance data to support HR initiatives.
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain performance records.
- Prepare letters, reports, and other HR-related documents as required.
- Assist with payroll timekeeping and processing, including month-end government remittances.
- Route documents such as HR requests, memos, and incident reports.
- Canvass requested goods and services from reputable suppliers and negotiate terms.
- Research and evaluate suppliers for accreditation and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Promote good relations by addressing employee concerns and suggesting solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate HR policies and recommend improvements as needed.
- Ensure proper dissemination of HR policies to all employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager to support departmental functions and initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Honest, trustworthy, and capable of working under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
