Project Manager

SwissPine Tech is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Scrum Master / Project Manager on a gig work basis, to facilitate and lead our project teams in delivering successful outcomes. This role will require expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) with experience and understanding of Waterfall practices. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, coach teams on Agile values, facilitate events, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meeting quality standards, and when necessary, regulatory requirements. The role will oversee program governance, IT development projects, AI and ML initiatives, and blockchain technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Servant Leadership & Event Facilitation:

• Act as a servant leader, empowering, supporting, and supporting the team and keeping them away from distractions to maintain productivity.
• Facilitate all Scrum events (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) while keeping meetings within agreed time limits.
• Support the team in achieving sprint goals and deliverables efficiently.
• Coordinate weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly governance meetings.

Methodology Implementation:

• Implement and coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and values, and adapting to hybrid project needs.
• Foster a deep understanding of Agile mindsets while promoting flexibility for hybrid project approaches.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Create and manage detailed project plans for scope, timelines, resources, and budgets under Waterfall or Agile frameworks as needed.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and adjust workflows using Jira, Clickup, and other Agile reporting tools.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure successful project execution.

Risk & Impediment Management:

• Identify risks, obstacles, and bottlenecks; proactively facilitate solutions to keep teams on track.
• Support teams in removing impediments that hinder progress.

Team Development & Continuous Improvement:

• Coach teams on Agile best practices to foster a high-performing, self-organizing team.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and experimentation.
• Develop strong collaboration and trust within the team and stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance Control:

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, including testing, reviews, and compliance with computer system validation and GxP regulations.
• Conduct project audits and assist in aligning deliverables with organizational objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

• Assist product owners with managing the product backlog effectively.
• Provide stakeholders with status reports on progress, risks, and key decisions to manage expectations.

Qualifications:Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in both Scrum Master and Project Manager roles.
• Proven experience in implementing Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies in diverse projects.
• Strong background in program management, IT project planning, and technical delivery.
• Experience with compliance-driven projects, including computer system validation

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or MS Project.
• Experience with Hubspot
• Strong knowledge of Agile reporting metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity).
• Familiarity with AI, ML, blockchain, or similar technologies is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to assess and mitigate risks while driving team collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and tailor approaches to diverse project needs.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• SAFe Agilist certification is a plus.
